Clearing the line, not just the symptom
A clog is rarely a single bad moment. It is grease, hair, soap and debris building up on the inside of a pipe for months until water finally cannot get past.
Before we pick a tool, we work out where the blockage is and what it is likely made of. A single slow sink points to a problem close to the fixture. Several drains acting up at once, or water rising in a basement floor drain, means the trouble is further down the main line.
From there we clear the pipe fully so water moves the way it should, rather than opening a small channel that closes up again in a week. We run water afterwards to confirm the line is draining properly before we call it done.
When a drain keeps coming back, or the pipe itself has cracked, sagged or separated, cleaning will not fix it for good. In that case we explain what we found and give you a price to replace the section, laid on proper bedding with the right pitch so it drains for years.
What your drains are telling you
- Water that drains slowlyA sink, tub or shower that holds water for a while after you turn it off is the most common early warning.
- Gurgling soundsBubbling from a toilet or drain when another fixture runs usually means air is being pushed around a blockage.
- Odors that will not go awayTrapped food, grease and debris start to smell long before they fully block the pipe.
- Backups in more than one placeWhen water shows up in a tub as the washer drains, or rises in a basement floor drain, the main line needs a look.
- The same clog keeps returningA drain you have cleared more than once is telling you something is wrong further down the pipe.

"Fantastic service! Had a pipe break over the hard winter but didn’t realize it until we turned in the outdoor spigot in spring. Guys came out within two hours, identified and fixed the problem, and came in under our estimate. They even added a shut-off valve to prevent future problems. Could not have been more pleased."
Drain cleaning questions
Not sure if your drain needs a plumber yet? Call and describe it. We will tell you honestly.
Are chemical drain cleaners a good idea?
They can burn a small hole through a clog, but the buildup usually remains and comes back. Harsh chemicals sitting in a line are also hard on older pipes. Clearing the line mechanically is the better long term fix.
Why does my drain keep clogging?
Usually the line was only partly cleared, or the pipe has a sag, crack or rough spot that catches debris. We look for the reason, not just the clog.
Can you come at night or on a weekend?
Yes. We are open 24 hours Saturday through Thursday, and Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM. A backup in the basement does not have to wait until Monday.
Is the estimate free?
Yes. Call or send the form and tell us what is going on.
